Goods and Services Tax (GST) is collected for customers in Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, and Canada.
What is GST?
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is an indirect or consumption tax levied on most goods and/or services that are bought and sold for use or consumption across the country.
Where do I add my GST number?
To add your GST number, please follow these steps:
- Sign in your Semrush account.
- Under My Profile, choose Subscription Info, then navigate to the Billing info tab.
- Under Billing info, choose to edit your Billing info and enter the number in the Business number field.
- Enter your number and click Save.
Australia
- GST rate we collect is 10%
- GST number format to be added to your Billing Info page: 11 digits
Format Example: 12345678901
Note: Business Number name on invoices and receipts is ABN
India
- GST rate we collect is 18%
- GST number format to be added to your Billing Info page: 15 digits alpha-numeric
Format Example: 22AAAAA0000A1Z5
Note: Business Number name on invoices and receipts is GSTIN
New Zealand
- GST rate we collect is 15%
- GST number format to be added to your Billing Info page: 13 digits
Format Example: 1234567890000
Note: Business Number name on invoices and receipts is NZBN
Singapore
- GST rate we collect is 9%
- GST number format to be added to your Billing Info page: 9 or 10 characters
Format Example: 200312345A
Note: Business Number name on invoices and receipts is GST Registration
